Why become a member of PSR-Pittsburgh?
As a physicians-medical organization, PSR
commands recognition, prestige, authority, and respect on issues of human
survival, because of its long record of public education service and
its commitment to the use of medicine's scientific and moral authority
in support of nuclear war prevention, nuclear disarmament and peace
efforts.
Public credibility of PSR is augmented by
increased resources and numbers of members. Active member contacts with
the public citizens, leaders and decision makers can have a major
influence
Member participation in the chapter
contributes directly to local decisions, actions and program.
How to become a member
Regular membership is
open to all physicians and other health professionals. Associate
membership is open to others who wish to support the goals and work of
PSR-Pittsburgh. All members of PSR-Pittsburgh automatically become
members of national PSR and receive its publications and notices.

Meetings of PSR-Pittsburgh
Meetings of PSR-Pittsburgh occur
bi-monthly, alternating between membership meetings and meetings of the
Executive Committee (to which all members and friends are invited). For
